Welcome to Neighborhood Christian Center !
*Is it possible to have sincere questions about God and also be uncomfortable going to church?
*Do you feel a need to make some personal changes in your life?
*How does anyone live a life of purpose and fulfillment?
Everyone has questions. At Neighborhood Christian Center we are pursuing answers; learning about God and His ways together. We would be honored to help you search out the answers to your questions, too. Whatever your situation, you'll find a friendly, accepting atmosphere in our church. Our worship style on Sunday morning is informal and our dress is casual. The music is contemporary and the messages are practical.
If you have thought that going to church might be an uncomfortable experience, we understand. Experiencing something new or different is not always easy, but often worth the effort. With that in mind, we'd like the opportunity to change forever the way you think about Sunday... To make it a day you look forward to; a day to really celebrate with friends. Please accept this invitation to journey with us as we explore our personal faith, growing in our relationships with God, family and friends, and enjoying life along the way.

Theme: I Believe in Sanctification
True Purpose
Read Hebrews 12:12–17
Maybe a recent funeral reminded you of the brevity of life. Maybe it was a sermon, a Scripture reading, a news report, a movie, or a conversation with a friend. Whatever the reason, sometimes death comes to mind—a subject normally ignored.
The funeral of a friend motivated Johnny to realize how brief life can be. Johnny decided not to let those thoughts bring him down. He chose to move toward making choices he had needed to make for a long time.
This verse became his guide:
Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14).
Before his time on earth would run out, Johnny made the decision to make the most of his days. He decided to pursue a life of relational peace and Christlike behavior. He could face the future of uncertainties and news reports and even death, knowing that he lived a life with his true purpose as the priority. He would live for God.
Thought for Today: Living with God’s purpose keeps us from traveling in life’s dangerous directions.
