Neighborhood Christian Center

 Who are we?

We are real people with real questions about life, about our purpose in this life, and about God.  Let's be frank.  Many people think going to church is about as much fun as visiting the dentist, and not half as practical.  Not only do we understand, but we hope to change all of that.  God wants your life to be great, and so do we!

What is our vision?

Our vision/goal at Neighborhood Christian Center is to develop strong and lasting relationships with God, family, and friends.

Why visit us?

Something great is happening and we want you to be a part of it!  You are invited to what might just be the friendliest, happiest, and most enjoyable church there is to be found anywhere!

Come have a cup of coffee and enjoy a delicious pastry or muffin with us.  Enjoy the live music provided by local musicians who love to use their talents in praising God.  Hear a practical, relevant message about real life.

Whatever your situation, you'll find a friendly, accepting atmosphere in our church.  We would be honored to have you join us!  It will cost you nothing and could be the most important decision you will ever make.

Where are we located?

Theme: I Believe in Communion

Remembering the Past

Read Exodus 12:14–20

When you look at your calendar, you’ll notice that throughout the year certain days have been set aside to commemorate or call to remembrance specific events or people.

This is a day you are to commemorate; for the generations to come you shall celebrate it as a festival to the Lord—a lasting ordinance (Exodus 12:14).

The instructions in this chapter were given the night before Israel was delivered from Egyptian bondage. A specific time was to be set aside each year to commemorate this momentous event. They were to share this testimony with their children and grandchildren (Exodus 12:26,27).

When we take part in Communion, we look back and remember the wonderful deliverance provided for us by Christ at Calvary. “God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God” (2Corinthians 5:21). Communion is a perpetual reminder to us of the broken body and shed blood of our Savior.

How long has it been since you shared the testimony of your deliverance from sin? Why not do that today.

Prayer Suggestion: Lord, thank You for Your great sacrifice.
